Annual Frontline Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) Workshop
DPME will be hosting the 6th Annual
Frontline Service Delivery Monitoring (FSDM) Workshop on 21 to 22 November
2016, in Protea Hotel OR Tambo- Ekurhuleni. The workshop is focussed on both strategic and operational aspects of
the FSDM Programme, attended by implementing partners from Offices of the
Premiers in all nine Provinces as well as relevant sector departments.
The purpose of the workshop is to review the
implementation of the programme, communicate the evolving vision of FSDM, and
assess the extent of the programme in catalysing service delivery
improvements. This year’s focus will be on learning from current
and emerging practices in sectors and provinces with deliberations on:
a) Prioritising systemic interventions to catalyse service delivery improvements,
b) Maximising available resources for monitoring frontline services, and
c) Monitoring the implementation of the National Youth Policy from a frontline point of view – an emphasis that stems
from the National Development Plan’s vision “to improve coordination between departments for greater policy coherence and more effective implementation”
