The handover is a partnership between the Office of the Deputy Minister and the SABC to handover school shoes throughout the year. SABC has shown initiative by encouraging listeners to donate school shoes which are then handed over during back to school.
The partnership will involve many more handovers to ensure that the need for schools shoes is met throughout the year.
This is an effort to bring about positive change in the lives of the learners and restore their dignity.
