MINISTER NKOSAZANA DLAMINI ZUMA TO ATTEND THE GRADUATION CEREMONY OF THE SEVEN HUNDRED (700) MEDICAL STUDENTS FROM THE NELSON MANDELA – FIDEL CASTRO (NMFC) PROGRAMME IN CUBA

 
 
The Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is leading the South African delegation to attend the graduation ceremony of medical students in Cuba. During the ceremony the Minister will deliver a vote of thanks on behalf the South African government.
 
The training of medical doctors in Cuba was forged by President Nelson Mandela and Fidel Castro in 1996 as part of the various bilateral agreements between South Africa and Cuba. In the year that South Africa celebrates the Mandela Centenary, the program more than seven-hundred (700) graduates and complete their integration into the South African health system.
 
The event will be hosted and attended by the Cuban Minister of Health, Minister of Education and Minister of International Relations.
