MINISTER RADEBE TO CONDUCT UNANNOUNCED VISIT AHEAD OF SoNA AT NTWASAHLOBO PRIMARY SCHOOL
Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will conduct unannounced Front Line Service Delivery Monitoring ( FSDM) visit to Ntwasahlobo Primary School in Khayelitsha, Cape Town as part of the, National Development Plan ( NDP)   Back to School campaign.
The NDP identifies improving education, training and innovation as some of the key elements in creating a better and more prosperous South Africa by 2030. The attainment of the NDP goals by 2030 requires a special focus on quality early childhood development, basic education and higher education and training.
Education is the number one priority for government and the Minister’s visit will highlight to the learners and teachers that the NDP envisages a South Africa, where everyone has access to education of the highest quality, leading to significantly improved outcomes.
The NDP Back to School campaign has been established as a concerted effort to promote the value of education in society, it is also a clarion call to leaders in government to spearhead the call for all South Africans to drive efforts to improve learning outcomes in schools.
