MINISTER RADEBE TO HOST YOUTH DIALOGUE IN KHAYELITSHA
Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe will host a youth dialogue in Khayelitsha, Cape Town under the theme, “The Year of OR Tambo, Advancing Youth Economic Participation’’.
The dialogue will be a platform to encourage debates, discussions and conversations about the challenges that confront the youth of today within the context of the National Development Plan (NDP) and the National Youth Policy (NYP) 2020 which seeks to create an environment that enables the young people of South Africa to reach their potential.
Furthermore the minister will engage youth on development programmes that advance youth economic participation and outline the how the NDP singles out a youthful population as an opportunity to boost economic growth, increase employment and reduce poverty.
