NDP Learner Essay Competition
The Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Jeff Radebe, officially launched the annual National Development Plan (NDP) Essay Competitions on 26 September 2017.
The objective of the competition:
· Create awareness and educate youth about the NDP 2030 as an overarching plan for the country.
· Encourage active citizenry and partnership between government and the private sector.
· Highlight the importance of education as one of the NDP outcomes and encouraging society to play their part in making vision 2030 as success.
The DPME would like to urge learners in Grade 12 to participate in the essay competition by downloading the form on the departmental website and submit it by 31 October 2017. The actual essay document should be submitted between the 1st and 20th of December 2017 to Thabang.Mokgoshi@dpme.gov.za.
